Do I need a referral or Mental Health Treatment Plan?You do not need a referral to book an appointment.
If you would like to access Medicare rebates, a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP is required. Private health insurance rebates may also apply depending on your level of cover.
In some circumstances, support may be available through third-party funding schemes such as NDIS, WorkCover, Victims Assist, or other compensable programs.
These arrangements are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please discuss this directly with Bridget prior to booking.
Are you currently accepting new clients?Existing or returning clients are welcome to book via the link. At present, I am not accepting new clients.
I prefer to keep my caseload at a size that allows me to provide consistent care and maintain adequate appointment availability for the people I am already working with.
If you feel Bowe and Arrow Psychology may be the right fit for you, you are welcome to get in touch. If availability changes, I may be able to offer a waitlist or suggest other options for support.
Can I contact Bridget between sessions ? Between-session contact is kept brief and generally limited to scheduling or administrative matters. Please reach out by phone or email and Bridget will endeavour to respond within 24 hours (Monday - Friday).
If you need support between sessions, we can discuss appropriate options during your appointment.

At Bowe and Arrow Psychology, your wellbeing, safety, and dignity are our highest priorities. All psychologists are required by law to be registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, ensuring professional and ethical standards of care. As a client of Bowe and Arrow Psychology, you have the right to expect that:
You will be treated with warmth, respect, and compassion at all times.
Your cultural background, values, and language preferences will be acknowledged and respected.
You will receive clear information about the nature and purpose of psychological services offered.
Your informed consent will be sought before services begin and revisited as your therapy progresses.
You will be provided with an explanation of confidentiality, including circumstances in which confidentiality may need to be limited by law or ethical duty.
You will be informed about session fees, cancellation policies, and any other relevant administrative details.
Your psychologist will discuss therapeutic goals and provide an estimate of how many sessions may be needed to address them.
You will receive skilled, evidence-based, and professional psychological services.
You are encouraged to ask questions or raise any concerns about your treatment at any time.

This Privacy Policy outlines how Bowe and Arrow Psychology manages clients’ personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles contained within the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
To provide effective psychological care, Bowe and Arrow Psychology collects personal information such as your name, contact details, medical and mental health history, and other relevant information. This may occur when you:
Complete intake or consent forms (online or hard copy)
Provide information directly during sessions
Correspond via email or phone
Are referred by another health professional or organisation
All client records are securely stored in a password-protected electronic system accessible only to authorised personnel. Records are retained for seven years after your last contact with the service (or longer in the case of clients under 18 years, as required by law).
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
Information collected by Bowe and Arrow Psychology is used solely for the purpose of providing quality psychological care. Your information remains confidential except in the following circumstances:
When required or authorised by law, such as if information is subpoenaed by a court.
When there is serious risk of harm — if your psychologist believes you or another person may be at risk of serious injury or death.
When you provide written consent for information to be shared, such as:
Reports or updates to your GP, psychiatrist, or another treating professional;
Communication with third-party funders (e.g. Medicare, insurance providers);
Sharing relevant information with a nominated support person or agency.
Bowe and Arrow Psychology does not disclose personal information to overseas recipients unless legally required or with your explicit consent. Your information will never be sold, rented, or used for unrelated purposes.
If a data breach ever occurs, Bowe and Arrow Psychology will activate its data breach response plan and take all reasonable steps to minimise potential harm.
Accessing or Correcting Your Information
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time. Requests should be made in writing to Bowe and Arrow Psychology and a response will be provided within 30 days. In some cases, a discussion or follow-up appointment may be arranged to clarify information.
If any details on file are found to be inaccurate or outdated, reasonable steps will be taken to correct them.
Concerns or complaints
